For sellers
If you have API keys with unused quota — from development accounts, team seats you're not fully using, or capacity you over-provisioned — cn2.ai lets you earn from that spare capacity automatically.
What you need
- A valid API key for any of our supported providers
- A cn2.ai account (email or GitHub signup)
- A payout method (Stripe, USDC, Lightning, or bank wire)
How selling works
- Add your key. Select a provider, paste your API key, and configure pricing, rate limits, and which routes buyers can access. Your key is encrypted before it leaves your browser — cn2.ai never sees it in plaintext.
- Pass the liveness check. We send a minimal test request through your key to verify it works. This typically costs less than $0.001 and takes under 2 seconds.
- Your key enters the pool. Once verified, your key is available to buyers. cn2.ai routes requests to the cheapest eligible key with the highest reliability, so competitive pricing helps you get more traffic.
- Earn per request. Every time a buyer's request is routed through your key, you earn your price minus the platform fee (10% on Free, 5% on Pro). Earnings accumulate in real time.
- Get paid. When your earnings reach $25, payouts are processed automatically via your chosen method. See payouts and KYC for details.
What you control
- Floor price
- The minimum price buyers pay per request through your key. You can choose fixed pricing (always your floor) or dynamic pricing (cn2.ai adjusts based on supply and demand, but never below your floor).
- Rate limits
- Set requests per minute (RPM) and requests per hour (RPH) limits. These should be at or below the limits on your upstream API key to avoid errors.
- Route restrictions
- Choose which API routes buyers can access. For example, you might allow chat completions but block image generation. Routes are defined by HTTP method and path prefix.
- Total budget
- Optionally cap the total number of requests your key serves. Once the budget is exhausted, the key is automatically removed from the pool.
- Region
- Tag your key with a region. EU-tagged keys are only served to buyers in EU countries, ensuring GDPR compliance. See EU routing.
